Messenger ¾ Pant
Now, these are cool pants! Portland Cyclewear owner Chad Krueger, known for years for his 100 percent wool jerseys, has shifted gears and made a cycling pant for the Northwest that’s functional, feels – and looks – good and has those “little extras” that will make these among your favorites! Constructed of a water-resistant technical 4-way stretchable nylon fabric, a stretchable waistband and reflecting piping on the rear pickets and Velcro leg straps, these knickers also come with rear pockets, front zippered pockets and a Velcro flap pocket to hold your cell phone. We also liked the lower cut design in the front, offering a comfortable ride. Other extras include a hygienic chamois and belt loops. Commuters, road riders, mountain bikers and coffee-shoppers will love these pants! $72. Black only. www.portlandcyclewear.com/messengerpant.html

N!ergy Tents by Eureka
This is one product that literally lit up our faces! Eureka, long known for its durable, free-standing fiberglass family tents, recently introduced three sizes of N!ergy tents with its patent pending E! Power system. These tents are equipped with a covered power cord that lets you enjoy “wired camping.” There’s nothing better while camping than drying your hair from the confines of your cozy tent, blowing up mats or mattresses or even reading your favorite book via the light from an E! Power reading light (all with appropriate plugs/adaptors). Simply hook up an N!ergy series tent to an optional E! Power Pak, then plug into one of three 12-volt outlets. N!ergy tents are pre-wired, so there are no extra steps during set-up. The wiring system is safe and unobtrusive, and each outlet is illuminated, allowing it to double as a nightlight. The portable E! Power Pak can be charged from any home outlet or your car’s 12-volt power supply prior to use.
Accessories include an E! Power Fan/Light good for up to 18 hours of use from a single charge, a 9-hour E! Power Reading Light, and a 12-volt car adapter cord. The N!ergy tents comes in three sizes from $159.90 - $289.90.
