For the 60th year running, Warren Miller dazzles us with excellent cinematography capturing truly talented individuals doing what they love. Dynasty takes us around the world to show off the skills and obsessions of superb climbers, skiers, and snowboarders. These films aren’t just for snow-lovers. Anyone who appreciates terrific scenery, the displays of highly skilled athletes and a bit of history will love this year’s film.
Scenes from a week’s worth of shooting at Crystal Mountain add a special Northwest connection to the film, which features athletes who grew up and learned to ski at Crystal including Tyler Ceccanti and Ingrid and Arne Backstrom. As Tiana Enger, marketing director for Crystal says, “The story-line is very family oriented (showing) that many generations have learned how to ski at Crystal and passed it on to their kids. Crystal…has helped keep the family tradition alive.”
The film premieres in the Seattle area in November and tickets are on sale now at several locations throughout the Northwest. Check out www.WarrenMiller.com for more information.
