In celebration of its new Portland flagship store grand opening Nov. 1 Arc’teryx is hosting a Crowd the Store contest, starting with a scavenger hunt in Portland’s downtown core.
On Oct. 25, locals will search for one Arc’teryx chalk bag with a $250 gift card in a location that highlights Arc’teryx’s products and commitment to outdoor lifestyles. The bag will contain instructions on how to redeem the prize and potentially increase the prize pool to up to $5,000, including a trip for two to Whistler, BC – near Arc’teryx’s Vancouver home.

A manufacturer of high-performance outerwear and equipment, its grand opening is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Nov. 1. The 2,890 square-foot store is located at Suite 605, NW 23rd Avenue, at NW Hoyt Street.
As part of the in-store experience, customers will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about the company’s design process via special engagement areas.
“Arc’teryx is a true Pacific Northwest brand,” says Adam Ketcheson, of Arc’teryx. “We share the same landscape, weather, and importantly, an inherent love for the outdoors. We’re looking forward to being part of the Portland outdoor community. We’ll be focused on continuing to support those consumers with the highest quality technical outdoor gear that is built around performance in adverse conditions.”
